Principal's Message, November 2017
Dear Floris Families,
With conferences almost complete, it means that our first quarter has ended! Our teachers always look forward to meeting with parents to discuss your student’s progress. It is so important to maintain a positive home/school connection –we truly value your input and observations. Teachers have been carefully monitoring students’ progress – they continue to grow and learn each week. Please note that progress reports for grades 1-6 will be sent home with your child on Tuesday, November 14th. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher. Also, please look for the Student-Parent Survey/Impact Aid form, coming home on Wednesday, November 8th, to be completed and returned by Friday, November 10th. The information on this survey supports FCPS’s request for federal funds under the Impact Aid Program. If no parent or guardian in your household lives or works on federal property, check box #5 at the bottom of the page, and sign and date the form.

We are thankful to be a part of a strong community that shows caring and support for everyone.
We hope during the holiday break, you are able to spend time and reconnect with family and friends. Please note that we will release students at 2:00 p.m., two hours early, on Wednesday, November 22nd.
