Responsive Classroom

Responsive Classroom is a widely used, research-backed positive behavior approach that increases academic achievement, decreases concerning behaviors, improves social skills, and leads to more high-quality instruction.  To implement Responsive Classroom, teachers embed these practices throughout the day: Morning Meetings, involving students to create clear rules, interactive modeling, positive teacher language, logical consequences, guided discovery, academic choice, classroom organization, working with families, and collaborative problem solving.  For a description of each practice and to learn more about Responsive Classroom, visit www.responsiveclassroom.org.
